Jelli Poised to Expand Distribution Partnerships for its Social Radio Platform
San Mateo, CA – November 6, 2012 — Jelli (https://www.jelli.com), the social radio platform, has announced that broadcast media expert and digital product strategist Fred Bennett has joined its team as Chief Business Development Officer. The newly created position signals Jelli’s broadening partnership with radio for programming and advertising solutions that deepen engagement, deliver actionable audience insights and increase revenue.

A 20-year broadcast industry executive with a cross-functional management background, Bennett is known for successfully creating and implementing new broadcast solutions and digital programs. Prior to joining Jelli, he was President and General Manager of Metro Television. Before that, Bennett was the Senior Vice President, Affiliate Sales at Westwood One, and Vice President, Operations and Programming at Shadow Traffic. On the station side, he served as General Sales Manager for Disney’s WABC Radio, New York, and headed up Pamal Broadcasting’s five station group, including its digital operation.
